OUR PROCESS

This is not a wipe-on dressing.

We start with a trim review, disclose prior-product risk, perform a hidden-area compatibility test, then perform a 4-step clean & prep process, and 3-step reconditioning process.

Service pricing starts at $1,450. Final scope depends on trim condition, contamination history, and whether additional prep work is required.

/ 01
Assessment-first
We test compatibility on a hidden area before we commit to full exterior application.
/ 02
Cerakote-based
A bonded, ceramic-derived process built for raw plastic — not a dressing that flashes off in a month.
/ 03
UV-stable
Deeper, more uniform color with protection engineered to hold up against the sun that faded it.
The process

Three steps. No surprises.

STEP01

Inspect

We review fading, chalking, water behavior, prior detail products, and hidden contamination risk before any final scope is approved.

STEP02

Test

A hidden-area compatibility test confirms the trim can actually accept the process before we commit to a full exterior application.

STEP03

Recondition

Eligible trim is cleaned, prepped, and reconditioned for deeper, more uniform color and UV-stable protection.

Straight talk

Before we commit — what can change the result.

We'd rather tell you up front than surprise you after.

Prior products leave a mark. Tire shine, silicone, wax, ceramic or graphene sprays, back-to-black products, heavy oxidation, or unknown detailer work can all change the outcome. We may require a compatibility assessment, recommend added prep, or decline the service if the trim isn't a good candidate.

It's reconditioning, not replacement. This is cosmetic reconditioning — not trim replacement or plastic repair. A perfectly new or perfectly uniform appearance is not guaranteed.

Cerakote FAQ

No. This is cosmetic reconditioning for eligible exterior plastic trim. It can improve the look of faded trim, but it is not new trim and it starts with inspection.

Prior tire shine, silicone, wax, ceramic sprays, or back-to-black products can change the result. ODB checks compatibility before recommending a full trim service.

Sometimes, but not blindly. Severe oxidation, streaking, or unknown prior products may need extra prep or may make replacement a better path than reconditioning.

Avoid stacking unknown dressings over the reconditioned surface. ODB can provide aftercare guidance based on the product used and the condition of the trim at delivery.
