The upgrade fitsThe upgrade replaces your passenger-side water system, centered on the HydroLink™ panel.
- It uses braided stainless burst-resistant lines in place of the factory plastic PEX, and stainless steel fittings, with lead-free brass only where stainless is unavailable.
- Control moves to the HydroLink™ 12-button panel.
- It adds a driver-side exterior city-water inlet: a direct pressurized hookup that bypasses the fresh tank.
- The exterior shower has a 16.5 ft pull-out hose with hot and cold mix.
On the 2021–2024 Revel 44E, the panel also runs the EuroLoft power bed. There is also an optional 35-gallon S&B fresh tank (factory: 21 gallons), sold separately with its install.
For summer-only use, the plumbing upgrade stands on its own.
For cold nights, start here: the grey tank sits under the chassis, exposed, and freezes first, while the fresh tank is inside and insulated. On the fresh side, the cable often makes the fresh-tank pad optional, and the grey pad is the priority.
- Heat pads protect the tanks. Heat cable protects everything between them.
- Cold-weather protection is freeze insurance, sensibly applied, built for genuine winter use (shoulder-season and ski-trip cold), short of sustained extreme sub-zero.
- The heat cable is self-regulating 12V, about 66 ft (20 m) long, switching on at about 30°F and off at about 40°F.
- Heat cable needs a 600–900 Ah lithium bank: on about 900 Ah, most of a day of protection.
- One rule: cold-weather add-ons are sold only alongside a full plumbing upgrade, because the heat system is integrated into HydroLink™.
If you have the factory Nautilus panel, the upgrade replaces it with the HydroLink™ 12-button panel.
If you already have HydroLink™, the cold-weather options add three separate green buttons: Heat Cable, Heat Pads (Grey) and Heat Pads (Fresh).
Why pads and cable both?
They split the work: the cable protects the lines, valves and exposed runs, not the tanks. The tank pads switch on at 45°F and off at 68°F (±5°F), with two pads per tank.

How do I winterize it?
Winterizing is a compressed-air blowout with the ODB Pro Blowout Tool at 55 PSI, with no RV antifreeze in the fresh system and only about ¾ gallon in the drains. Remember to pull the GuzzleH2O filter before the blowout.
Can the engine help heat the water?
An optional add-on is an engine-to-hydronic glycol heat exchanger with an auxiliary circulation pump and a dash switch, which does not modify the factory hydronic loop.
