Everything needed to connect your Revel's engine to its heater
This kit holds the parts ODB uses to link your Winnebago Revel's engine cooling system to its diesel hydronic heater, for free cabin heat and hot water while you drive and a warm engine before cold starts. It works with every Revel heater system: the factory Espar with Rixen's MCS-5 controls (2018–2020), Timberline (2021–2024), Timberline 2.0 (2025+), and the Rixen's MCS7 retrofit.
What's in the kit
- Rixen's double-wall plate heat exchanger and mounting bracket
- Rixen's 12V hydronic circulation pump and wiring harness, for engine preheat
- 20 ft of 3/4" SAE J20R3 heater hose
- Rixen's barbed fittings, molded 90° elbow, straight splice, and 10 constant-tension spring clamps
- 2 gallons of premixed 50/50 coolant for the heater loop
Why a double-wall heat exchanger
Engine coolant and heater coolant pass through separate walls, so the two fluids stay apart.
