This kit includes four self-regulating 12V heat cable runs totaling approximately 66 feet of coverage. The cables automatically adjust their heat output—reaching surface temperatures of up to approximately 150°F under cold conditions—to help maintain consistent heat along vulnerable plumbing runs without creating hot spots.
A bi-metal thermostatic switch automatically controls system operation, activating the heat cables at approximately 30°F and switching them off near 40°F. This allows the system to provide automatic freeze-risk mitigation without requiring manual driver intervention.
Total system draw may reach approximately 24–26A during cold startup, after which the self-regulating cable typically stabilizes and maintains heat with a continuous draw of approximately 10–15A, depending on ambient temperature, installation conditions, and cable load.
