Overland Xtreme - Sprinter ECU Performance Tune
ODB performs this ECU calibration in our shop, so your ECU never ships anywhere. For 2013–2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans with the 3.0L diesel engine, confirmed by VIN before we quote.
No DEF, EGR or DPF delete or reduction tuning. The listed price is installed in the ODB shop, plus tax.

Done in Our Shop, Not by Mail
Most Sprinter ECU tunes are sold as a mail-in job: you remove the engine computer, ship it away, and the van is off the road until it comes back. Others ship you a device to run yourself. ODB does this calibration in our shop instead, so nothing is shipped.
The base service is built around a pre-scan, a protected copy of your van's original calibration file, the calibration write, a post-scan, and a handoff record of what was installed. Your final quote confirms the exact scope.
Who It's For
Owners of 2013–2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans with the 3.0L diesel engine, including Winnebago Revel and other Sprinter-based campers built on that chassis, who want a calibration change done by a shop rather than by mail. Check your VIN, not the model name: four-cylinder vans are not eligible.
It is not for vans with removed, disabled or modified emissions equipment, vans with unresolved warning lights or drivability problems, or anyone looking for an emissions delete.
What to Expect
Overland Xtreme, which supplies the calibration, rates it at up to 25% more power, with up to 235 wheel horsepower and 406 lb-ft of wheel torque. It also lists less turbo lag, sharper throttle response, more power across the rev range, smoother power delivery, and stronger performance on hills, when passing or merging, and at altitude. These are the vendor's figures; ODB does not dyno-test the tune in-house.
What ODB Will Not Do
ODB does not perform DEF, EGR or DPF delete, bypass or reduction tuning, and we do not work on vans whose emissions equipment has been removed or disabled. Factory emissions equipment must be present and working before we start.
Emissions, Inspection & California
ODB makes no claim about emissions compliance or inspection results for a tuned van. We do not have a California Air Resources Board Executive Order for this calibration. If your van is registered in California, or in another state that applies California emissions rules, contact ODB before you request a quote.
Your VIN, Dealer Updates & Going Back to Stock
The calibration file is prepared for your van's specific ECU and software, so ODB confirms the VIN, engine and ECU details before quoting.
A Mercedes-Benz dealer software update can overwrite an aftermarket calibration. Re-applying the tune after an update is a separate service, currently $295 plus any diagnosis the update requires. Restoring your original calibration file is quoted on request.
Compatibility
Candidate fitment is limited to vendor-listed 2013–2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans with the 3.0L diesel engine. Model years outside that range, four-cylinder vans, unresolved powertrain or emissions faults, and unsupported powertrain modifications need a different review path.
Price & Quote Request
Installed in the ODB shop: $1,295 plus tax. Diagnosis or repairs found during the pre-scan are quoted separately.
Adding this item to a quote request does not create an order or appointment. ODB reviews fitment, diagnostics and taxes before sending a final quotation.
Scope & Exclusions
Not included unless your final quotation says otherwise: repairs or diagnosis of existing faults, dyno testing, re-applying the tune after a dealer update, restoring the stock file, retunes, expedited handling, replacement hardware, roadside recovery, and any warranty coverage not accepted in writing.
Before You Request a Quote
Include the vehicle year, VIN, engine, current modifications, any warning lights or codes, and how you use the van. Your van should be mechanically serviceable with working factory emissions equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from a mail-in tune?
With a mail-in tune you pull the ECU, ship it, and wait for it to come back. ODB does all of the work in our shop, so nothing is shipped. We scan the van before and after and keep a protected copy of the original calibration file.
How much power will it add?
Overland Xtreme, which supplies the calibration, rates it at up to 25% more power, with up to 235 wheel horsepower and 406 lb-ft of wheel torque. It also lists less turbo lag, sharper throttle response, more power across the rev range, smoother power delivery, and stronger performance on hills, when passing or merging, and at altitude. These are the vendor's figures; ODB does not dyno-test the tune in-house.
Can I go back to stock?
The base service keeps a protected copy of your van's original calibration file. Restoring it is a separate service, quoted on request.
What happens if the dealer updates my van's software?
A dealer update can overwrite the tune. Re-applying the tune after an update is a separate service, currently $295 plus any diagnosis the update requires. Restoring your original calibration file is quoted on request.
Will my van pass an emissions inspection?
ODB does not make that promise, and we make no emissions-compliance claim for this calibration. If your state or county requires emissions testing, check its rules before booking.
Do you offer DEF delete or DEF reduction?
No. ODB does not perform DEF, EGR or DPF delete, bypass or reduction tuning.
Will it affect my warranty?
ODB makes no promise about how Mercedes-Benz, Winnebago or a dealer will treat warranty claims on a tuned van. Ask your warranty provider before booking.
How long will my van be at ODB?
We give you an appointment window with your quote. We do not publish a fixed duration yet.
My van has a warning light. Can you tune it?
Not until the fault is diagnosed and fixed. A tune is not a repair, and ODB quotes diagnosis separately.
