Van Compass - High Performance Rear Bump Stop System | 2015+ Sprinter (2500 Only)
Key Features
- Adjustable for multiple spring and lift height combinations.
- Includes all necessary hardware.
- Works with stock and VC tuned Falcon shocks.
- Works with stock and lifted vans.
- Simple installation with basic hand tools.
The softer, progressive nature of the bump stop also enables more complete cycling of the rear shocks, so you're ready to handle big suspension hits with as much wheel travel as we could squeeze out of the chassis.
We've also created an innovative billet upper mounting adapter to convert to a more traditional style bump stop. No more fiddling with pry bars or screwdrivers to install difficult factory rubber bump stops! This kit includes all the necessary brackets, parts and hardware to work perfectly with any of our rear suspension configurations too, giving you flexibility for the future if you're just getting started on certain aspects of your van's setup.
Fitment & Compatibility
The Van Compass High Performance Rear Bump Stop System (VC-3073) is engineered specifically for the 2015 and newer Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 (single rear wheel). It is compatible with stock leaf spring packs as well as Van Compass Opti-Rate replacement springs, factory and lifted ride heights, and pairs perfectly with VC-tuned Falcon rear shocks. Refer to the included Bump Buddy upper and lower configuration chart to match the correct setup to your suspension build.

Why Choose Progressive Foam Over OE Rubber?
Factory rubber bump stops are designed to act as a hard limiter, slamming the rear suspension to a stop when it cycles fully. Van Compass progressive foam bump stops gradually ramp up resistance as the suspension compresses, soaking up impacts from washboard roads, dirt trails, and heavy cargo loads. The result is a noticeably smoother ride, better tire contact off-road, and dramatically reduced harshness on your Sprinter 2500 — without sacrificing load capacity.
Installation
This Sprinter rear bump stop kit installs in a couple of hours in a typical home garage using basic hand tools. The billet upper adapter eliminates the headache of prying out the factory rubber bumps, so the swap is dramatically easier than OE.
