Few upgrades are as critical to a vehicle as a tuned suspension package. Adventure in comfort and confidence with a Van Compass system tuned for your van and needs. The Stage 2.3 system utilizes front and rear adjustable piggy back 3.3 Fast Adjust shocks paired with a front Sumo Spring bump stop upgrade for owners that want to minimize sway and gain additional control over their suspensions feel and driving dynamic. This system is intended for lighter weight adventure vans that do not need a rear spring rate upgrade, and vans where the owner do not want any change in ride height.

Our Stage 2.3 system retains the factory suspension geometry and transforms the Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 from a violently swaying and lumbering cargo van into a vehicle with true German luxury car feeling and control, both on and offroad. Vehicle control and suspension compliance are the two areas of ride quality we focused on when we engineered this kit, and the payoff is increased performance over any terrain while also improving handling for unexpected emergencies.

Falcon's 3.3 Fast Adjust Piggyback Reservoir Shocks represent the cornerstone of our Stage 2.3 system. Built specifically to our tune specifications, they represent the culmination of years of accumulated knowledge, applied directly to the adventure van market. These shocks have a MASSIVE range of compression adjustment at the simple flip of a knob. We've put the large red knob in an easy to reach location that allows for easy access and quick confirmation of the settings. The rear shocks also include the SP2 adjustment, which allows for further refinement specific to your preferences and vehicle's weight; with a simple turn of the shaft one of 2 tune profiles is engaged during installation.

Drastically improve the drivability of your Sprinter with the newest generation of throttle mapping. Introducing the Pedal Control 2.0. Solve the dreaded hesitation, then wallop of power, which is familiar to any Sprinter driver.

At first, there was the Pedal Box, which made the van more responsive but didn't solve the power delivery curve issue. Now, with the introduction of the Pedal Control 2.0, we are able to drastically smooth the power curve and eliminate the hesitation + abrupt power delivery of the factory sprinter.

How does it work?
The modern Sprinter has a drive-by-wire throttle system as well as a turbo. The engine must have a certain level of RPM to spool up the turbo to add power. This is why there is a big hesitation off the line followed by a big wallop of power. The Pedal Control 2.0 interrupts and re-broadcast a new signal to the van's ECU. This allows you to adjust the throttle input electronically so that the Sprinter drives much more normally.

NOTE: 

  • Vans equipped with HD Rear AC Package require extra care when mounting front shocks, refrigerant lines may need to be slightly bent and re-secured.
  • NOT compatible with Sumo Spring Rebel series of springs, specifically Sumo Spring part numbers: SSR-327-47-2 and SSR-327-40-2 There is a Sumo Spring bracket associated with those kits which makes contact with the shock body.

Recommended Wheel Size: 17" x 8.5", +45mm offset

WHEEL FITMENT NOTE: 2023+ AWD vans require fitment of a wheel with 6" backspacing or less. For a 17"x8" wheel, this corresponds with a +38mm offset. Wheels with a greater offset like +52mm, or more backspacing like 6.5", will rub the tire on the shock reservoir when the steering is turned.​

Simple installation with no permanent modifications to your van. Pedal Control 2.0 daisy chains easily between just above the throttle. It installs in about a minute or two. Then you simply download the app and you can select the program best for you. 

Does not affect vehicle warranty and does not add any HP to the van. The product smooths the power delivery and makes the van more responsive to driver inputs. 

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION.

The Pedal Control 2.0 has been carefully designed and rigorously tested. Please follow all installation instructions

  1. Turn off the ignition and wait five minutes.
  2. Loosen the plug connection from the original plug adapter.
  3. Attach both OEM connectors to the accelerator pedal sensor.
  4. Lay the cables in such a way that they are securely installed and are not interfering with anything else.
  5. Relocate the Pedal Control to a suitable location.
  6. Launch the app from your smartphone.
  7. Pair your smartphone to the Pedal Control with the default PIN “123456”

Never install or remove with the ignition system active. Always switch off the ignition and wait 5 minutes for all electrical systems to power down and fully discharge. Some vehicles may require additional time to power down.

On most vehicles, the connection for the Pedal Control 2.0 is close to the accelerator pedal or the steering column. You must ensure that the Pedal Control and the associated wiring loom do not interfere with the operation of the pedal or the steering and are secured at all times.
